Closed Seeding System

How does this differ to the systems on the market today?

What is a closed seeding system, it is a system where the seed doesn’t have contact with the surface, as the wing goes through the ground soil from the leading edge is pushed down to form the seed bed and soil higher than this point continues along over the edge of the wing until it falls on top of the newly formed bed with seed in it, effectively sandwiching the seed in clean uncontaminated soil. This action almost eliminates the seed being affected by chemicals like Triflurilan which are known for root pruning and allows lower sowing rates, the combination translating to higher yields and lower seed costs.

The other benefits of this action is that it closes the slot that has being opened by the knife point eliminating mouse holing and more importantly drags any moist soil in the first few inches down forming a wet seed bed increasing germination rates and times. Stiletto customers have observed plants coming out of the ground 2 days earlier than their previous systems.
